BAIT SHOPS

San Leon has two bait shops offering live shrimp and croaker, as well

as fresh dead shrimp. On the north end of the peninsula, you'll find

Eagle Point Fishing Camp. April Fool Point Marina, on the south side

next to Topwater Grill can also fix you up. Tell them we sent you!

SAN LEON/BACLIFF AREA

Bayshore Park is a 28-acre park only 3.5 miles away from Mandolin 

Pier.  This Galveston County park has walking trails, picnic areas, and

a party pavilion. The park hosts local events such as the annual circus,

motorcycle rallies and community fundraisers.

PHYSICAL FITNESS

The Force is open for business! For a good old fashioned gym

workout in a motivational environment, go say hi to the guys and

gals at The Force. Be ready to sweat!

If outdoor fitness is more your style, grab your mountain bike (yes, you

read that right!) and mosey on over to Jack Brooks Park in Hitchcock. Lots

of twisty single track with natural roots and technical features.

TEXAS CITY 

The Texas City Dike features over five miles of beaches, boat ramps, shelters and water amenities. Find out why more than 500,000 people visit the dike each year to participate in fishing, boating, cycling, kite flying and extreme water sports!

The Texas City Gun Range is an excellent choice for sharpening your marksmanship skills. Operated by the City of Texas City, the

range features pistol and rifle fields, as well as two regulation skeet fields, one trap field and one 5 Stand field. Be sure to read the rules!

Kemah Boardwalk – one of the area's most popular tourist attractions, featuring shops, restaurants, a marina, and amusement
